GOD IS SEPARATING THE WHEAT FROM THE TARE

If you were asked the question, 'Did Jesus come to bring
salvation and peace?', how would you respond? If you
responded 'yes' you would only be partially correct. Consider
the following:

"Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? I tell you, no, but rather division; for from now on five
members in one household will be divided, three against two, and two against three. They will be divided,
father against son, and son against father; mother against daughter,and daughter against mother;
mother-in-law against daughter-in-law, and daughter-in law against mother-in-law." ((Luke 12: 51-53;
Matthew 34-37)

Jesus taught in the parable of the wheat and tare, (Matthew 13; 24-30), that the kingdom of heaven was like a
man (the Son of Man) that had sown good seed in his field, and while "men" (those who call themselves devout
Christians and church leaders) were sleeping, the enemy (the Devil) came in and sowed tares (fake Christians)
among the wheat (God's people). Because the tare resemble the wheat, they were not noticed until "the wheat
grew and "bore grain," then the tares became evident. They became evident because they were not productive
like wheat; they were not producing the fruits of God. When the slaves (bond-servants of Jesus Christ) asked the
landowner should they gather the tares, the landowner said no, because the wheat might be harmed in the
process. Here is the climax of this parable:

"Allow both to grow together until the harvest (end of the age), and in the time of the harvest I will say to the
reapers (angels); First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat
into my barn.' (Matthew 13: 30)

We are now at the end of the age and the harvest has begun. The wheat is being separated from the tare. When
Jesus said that he came to bring division, that division is between the true wheat (faithful followers) and those
who are just pretending. As we get closer to Christ gathering the Saints into heaven, the division will get bigger.
The times we are living in will make the determination. The true wheat will know the voice of God and will follow
Him. There are some within a household who will fall away from the faith, but the "wheat" will stand strong. The
wicked and evil day that we are living in as well as the difficult days that lie ahead will define the wheat and tare.

Christ says, "Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire, so then, you will
know them by their fruits. Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he
who does the will of My Father who is in heaven," (Matthew 7: 19-21). The key word is "does", not "says."

The Father knows who is wheat and who is tare. The wheat will be gathered into heaven and the tare will be
thrown into the lake of fire. Going to church every Sabbath or 2-3 times a week will not guarantee your entrance
into heaven. You must be productive. You must keep God's commandments, live righteously, and exhibit your
faith through your actions. Faith without works is dead! (James 2: 26).

Are you wheat? If in doubt, pray to the Father for forgiveness and repent of your sins. "If we confess
our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say
that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us." (1 John 1:9-10)
